Where we started
Avalith began in 2011 when brothers Agustín and Joaquín dreamed up their business idea in their back yard quincho (shed or pavilion for barbecuing) in Mar del Plata, Argentina.

Co-founder & CEO

Agustín Antonino is the Co-founder and CEO of Avalith, leading the company with a vision for innovation and excellence. He studied law at the National University of Mar del Plata and has over 15 years of of experience in the technology sector. With a specialties in relationship-building and marketing, Agustín's entrepreneurial spirit and technical expertise have been fundamental in establishing Avalith as a premier software development firm since its inception in 2011.

Joaquin Antonino

Co-founder

Joaquin Antonino, Co-founder of Avalith, has a background in business administration and entrepreneurship. Since he started the company along with his brother, Agustín, in 2011, he has played a fundamental role in Avalith's strategic growth, having served for over 10 years as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Joaquin's insights into business development and commitment to client satisfaction continue to be key drivers of the company's success.

Ana Szlapelis

CFO

Ana Szlapelis is a certified public accountant and the Chief Financial Officer at Avalith, responsible for managing the company's financial health, strategy, and compliance. She holds degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from the National University of Mar del Plata and has a strong background in financial planning and analysis. Ana's expertise in fiscal helps Avalith grow sustainably.

José Bergues

CTO

José Bergues serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Avalith, guiding the company's technological innovation, implementing innovative methodologies, and leading development teams. He studied Computer Programming at the National Technological University in Buenos Aires and and has over 15 years of experience in software development and IT management. José's deep technical knowledge and focus on teamwork keep Avalith at the cutting edge of technology.

Cristian Civita

COO

Cristian Civita, Chief Operating Officer at Avalith, leads the Talent Acquisition and Service Delivery areas with a focus on growth and efficiency. He holds a degree in Information Technology from the Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires, and has extensive experience in software development, project management, and operations. Adept at leading cross-functional teams.

Juan Ignacio Cornidez

CMO

Ignacio Cornidez, Chief Marketing Officer at Avalith, leads the company's marketing and brand strategy, as well as the marketing team. He studied Business Administration from the Universidad Caece in Mar del Plata and specializes in productive digital marketing. Always looking for new and innovative methods and techniques, Ignacio's experience in market analysis and brand management drives Avalith's visibility and engagement in the competitive tech landscape.

Florencia Amores Diez

Managing Director

Florencia Amores Diez is a Managing Director at Avalith, contributing to the company's strategic direction and operational excellence, as well as ensuring only LATAM’s best developers are hired at Avalith. She studied at the National University of Mar del Plata and has a wealth of experience in leadership roles. Florencia's leadership of recruitment processes for both IT teams and staff, as well as her dedication to operational success, ensures Avalith always delivers quality.

Fernando Munafo

Managing Director

Fernando Munafo, also a Managing Director at Avalith, brings diverse strategic insights to the company's leadership team, with over 10 years of experience practicing law and 8 years specialized in the technology industry. With a degree in law from FASTA University in Mar del Plata, he has an in-depth knowledge of the IT corporate world and focuses on business strategy, communication, human relations, and implementing new technologies at Avalith.
